Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours, and when do you stop serving food? What does “until business allows” mean?

We are open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday.

Hours:
• Tuesday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday & Saturday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM (lunch & dinner)

Our kitchen closes one hour before closing each day. Last food orders are taken at:
• 9:00 PM on Tuesday–Thursday
• 10:00 PM on Friday & Saturday

During slower winter weekdays, if there is little or no guest activity in the evening, we may close early (as early as 9:00 PM). This is what we mean by “until business allows.” If we close early, we will always post an update on our front door and on our Instagram stories.

What are tapas, and how many should we order?

Tapas are small, shareable Spanish-inspired dishes designed to be enjoyed communally. Rather than ordering individual entrées, guests typically share several plates to explore a variety of flavors.

We recommend 3–4 dishes for two people, depending on appetite. Our servers are always happy to help guide ordering based on your group size.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, our Chef’s Feature is paella, which is best shared between two people.

What is the cover charge, and why is it applied?

A $5 live music cover charge helps directly support the local musicians who perform at La Diosa Cellars on Friday and Saturday nights (and occasional Thursdays).

The cover charge is automatically added to guest checks for those dining during live music, which begins at 7:30 PM. 100% of the cover charge goes directly to the musicians.

Where can I find out who’s playing live music?

You can check out our music calendar here, visit our Facebook Events page, or follow us on Instagram for regular updates.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Our menu includes several vegetarian dishes, a small number of vegan options, and a limited selection of items that are prepared without gluten-containing ingredients.

While we are happy to answer questions about ingredients, La Diosa Cellars is not a gluten-free kitchen, and our menu is not designed to accommodate extensive gluten-free substitutions or modifications. Guests with celiac disease or severe gluten sensitivities should take this into consideration when dining with us.

What is the gratuity policy for large parties?

A 20% gratuity is automatically added to checks for parties of six or more. This gratuity goes directly to your server.

What kind of wines do you serve? Do you offer beer or cocktails?

Our beverage program is intentionally wine-focused, with a list curated to complement our tapas menu and encourage sharing. Selections range from classic favorites to approachable wines from Mediterranean Europe and South America.

We are proud to feature wines from McPherson Cellars, located directly across the street, offered by the glass and bottle. These wines are 100% grown and made in the Texas High Plains.

Due to our TABC license, we do not serve beer or spirit-based cocktails. We do, however, offer wine-based aperitif-style drinks and other low-alcohol options, along with a small selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
